Waxing is the longest-lasting temporary hair removal technique available, lasting up to 6 weeks before the hair grows back. The warm wax opens the follicle allowing the hair to be pulled out by the root. It has been noted that areas that have been repeatedly waxed over a period often have softer regrowth.
